B&R Automation Studio Supplementary Info 3: Program Task Class
Описание
Supplementary Info 3:
When designing an application, it is important to know how fast your program is required to run. In the B&R PLC, there are a number of different task classes, starting with the TC#1 which has the highest priority.
For this exercise, we first create a counting program, then we place it in two different task class and observe the differences in the counting speed. This represents how often the program is executed.
Normally unless necessary, it is not recommended to put all programs in the fastest task class as this may take up the CPU usage percentage (Depends on which model of B&R PLC is being used).
B&R PLC offers the flexibility in application design whereby you can put certain programs at a slower task class and certain programs at a faster task class. This allows for full optimization of your CPU usage.
