Sony Vegas Movie Studio Sound Mapper Error Fix

Recently I was rendering a video with Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 and at the end the software was not responding and I had no audio associated with the project. There was also an error message "The playback device Microsoft Sound Mapper does not exist." After searching the internet and trying to reinstall Vegas Movie Studio and updating drivers I found that the Microsoft system file checker utility found corrupt files and repaired them and fixed my audio problem.
