Sketchbook Page - a work in progress

#the100DayProject has been all about colour mixing for me. I decided to work on colour sets and change them up every 10 days, to give me a specific focus and keep me from losing interest.


This is one of my sketchbook pages from Day #43.


I am using deep violet and indian yellow hue with black and titanium white. I love adding line with water soluble graphite, neo colour II crayons and Inktense pencils, often dipping these in water before they hit the page.


This sketchbook is slowly filling up and at the end of the project, keep an eye out for a flip through of the completed book.


I'd love to hear what you find with sketchbook pages. Do you use a sketchbook in your practice? I admit it has been a recent (in the last 18 months) addition to my painting practice!
