With Maserati officially stopping production of the GranTurismo MC Stradale in late 2016/early 2017, the GranTurismo MC was its spiritual successor. Essentially, Maserati had done away with the hardcore Stradale label and focused more on making a sporty but still luxurious grand tourer. The 2017 model year received the intuitive Maserati Touch Control Plus unit borrowed from the Levante which elevated the interior into the present day, a world away from the previous interface. This allowed the GranTurismo MC to become a more usable and everyday car.
