Yocto Linux #1 - Initial setup and ZedBoard bring-up

This video goes through installing Ubuntu 16.04 in a new Virtual Machine, installing Xilinx Vivado 2016.4 for Linux, installing the necessary Ubuntu prerequisites, and then installing the Yocto, OpenEmbedded, and Xilinx repositories. By the end of the video we have created a minimal system and booted the ZedBoard into Linux. The next videos will explain how U-Boot works, add the seven-segment display that we developed previously, and then make a device driver for it.
