Further to Part 1 (https://youtu.be/JWy8pvxSFWU) where I talk about Home Assistant integrated environment, in this video I will geta Tuya PIR (Passive Infra Red) Sensor to switch on/off a TAPO bulb.
After pairing the Tuya PIR sensor on my phone, the device information goes to the Tuya cloud.
In this video I will sync the Tuya Cloud with Home Assistant so the new device is accessible in Home Assistant. I do go through using HACS to be able to get the Local Tuya Add on, which is a community add on, into Home Assistant and then how to get the ingfromation for adding a device to it using the TiyTuya program that runs in Python.
I also show how this information is stored in the Tuya cloud as we can query it with the API, even to the point of Factory Resetting the device in Tuya cloud, thereby removing it from Home Assistant.
