LightWave 3d: Multiplane Compositing
Описание
Integrate 3d animation among 2d layers without altering the look of the design. With a simple node network, we’ll move each mapped 2d plane along the Z and let the scaling sort itself out. It’s all live so making changes to the camera’s settings will update the scaling on each plane automatically.
If things look wonky when setting up in Layout, make sure your planes are the correct width/height and have a scale of (1,1,1).
Synced with After Effects and Element 3d, you could easily add detail to your 3d model after rendering! Changes can be made in AE and sent to LW using File/Export/Send to LW, so you should have a perfect sync between the two apps!
AE script for the scale channel. The anchor point needs to be at the same XY as the camera (XY: 0,0 in this case):
camDist = 0000; //replace with ref camera z pos without the minus
distance = position(Z) + camDist; //replace () with angled brackets, YT doesn't allow them
scale * (distance / camDist)
