Skyrim ~ Where To Get The Extremely Rare "Balbus's Fork" Item

This quick video tutorial shows how and where to acquire the unique and extremely rare item, "Balbus's Fork." This is acquired from a random encounter with a guy named Balbus. It took me a while to do this as there's very little information on this. I found that at an early level (I was at level 6) and in a certain wilderness spawn point it's a guaranteed way. The spawn point is in a patch of Pine trees just due East of Anise's Cabin and slightly Southwest of Riverwood across the river. Do a save a little before getting to the spawn point and keep going towards it upon every reload. It's probably not going to happen right away so every time the encounter isn't him just reload the save and repeat. This can kind of entertaining seeing some of the other encounters as well. This item is similar to Bolar's Oathblade in that specific conditions and a limited window must be met to find it. Balbus only spawns in once and when he does he stays at the specific spawn point forever (or until he's killed) and he will likely get killed easily if he spawns somewhere early on and isn't found. So he could literally be at any number of locations laying dead somewhere without you having any clue as to where! Once found he can be killed, pickpocketed or presented with the "Gourmet Writ Of Passage" note that's obtained during the Dark Brotherhood quest "Recipe For Disaster." In that case, he has unique dialogue and hands over the fork (but good luck finding him alive at that point!)
