Oh synapse! Time to connect the dots…I mean neurons. Each neuron is separated from its neighbors, so how exactly does a message get passed from one neuron to the next? Through the synapse, of course! Take a closer look at the basic structure of the synapse, the two synapse types (electrical vs. chemical), and the different synapse receptors. Get the message? Good.
