The Cure Preset For Guitar Rig 5

Hello!

Today I was looking for a way to make my guitar sound like that of Robert Smith's, from The Cure, only to find out that there are no presets for Guitar Rig 5 inspired by the special sound of the band!

After looking up Smith's gear rundown all over the internet, I gave it a try to make a preset based on it.

According to the sources, he uses exclusively BOSS pedals, even some that can't be bought new anymore, as they are disscontinued.

This preset features the effects he uses as close as they can be too (setting the knobs to what sounds closer to their style).

The pedals are as follows:

Cry Wah (Based on Dunlop's Cry Baby)
Gain Booster (BOSS DS1 Distortion)
Distortion (BOSS Super Overdrive)
Phaser Nine (BOSS Super Phaser)
Chorus/Flanger (As Boss Super Chorus, not as flanger)
Electric Lady (As Boss Flanger Pedal)
Delay Man (As Boss Digital Delay)

I omitted an alternative for the BOSS Tremolo Pan, as I thought I could do well without it.

And here is the demo for all the songs I know by The Cure (Except Why Can't I Be You), with a million mistakes (sorry!).

You should adjust it according to the sound you want to achieve, by setting the knobs differently and turning the pedals on/off.
