The Yamaha AVENTAGE RX-A2A 7.2-channel AV Receiver comes with 8K support and MusicCast. Part of Yamaha’s premium AVENTAGE series, this AV receiver packs in a host of new features to upgrade your gaming, home theater and music listening experience.

The Yamaha RX-A2A is rated to deliver 100W output on 7 channels. The AVR has 7 HDMI inputs and 1 output. The RX-A2A supports 8K @ 60Hz and 4K @ 120Hz video pass-through. The AVR is equipped to take advantage of the latest HDMI technologies. It supports the new HDR format including HDR10+, the older HDR10, Hybrid Log Gamma, Dolby Vision, 4:4:4 Pure Color subsampling, BT.2020 pass-through and HDCP 2.3. It also supports an all new HDMI feature called Quick Media Switching (QMS), which allows a source to instantly adjust the resolution or frame rate to eliminate screen blackouts. The receiver also brings in support for eARC or enhanced audio return channel that allows transmission of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X from TV apps or connected devices using a single HDMI cable.

On the surround sound front, the RX-A2A integrates Dolby Atmos®, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization and DTS:X® and Yamaha’ proprietary CINEMA DSP 3D sound field creation technology for a realistic surround sound experience.
