a quick and easy guide on using rdp on linux servers
Ubuntu 20.04/21.10 Remote Desktop Access from Windows 10 / linux

steps:-

sudo apt update
(install desktop environment if it's not already installed
sudo apt install xrdp
sudo systemctl start xrdp
sudo ufw allow from any to any port 3389 proto tcp
ip address (find ip/hostname of ubuntu)
type mstsc in run window (for windows)
xfreerdp tool (for linux)




00:00 install desktop-environment
00:15 install xrdp (remote desktop server & initialise it)
00:40 remote desktop connection on windows using mstsc.exe tool
00:55 remote desktop connection on any linux distro using xfreerdp tool
01:18 manual page of xfreerdp for more customizable options
