In this episode, Miriel gradually works her way up to Level 3 by picking up more quests around Daggerfall. The first of these is to rescue a maiden kidnapped by the Thieves' Guild without paying the demanded ransom to the arrogant extortionists. The second involves hunting down a traitor to the Kynaran Order and meting out cold steel justice down his throat. The third and most complicated one involves dealing with the treasonous Lord K'avar, whose plan to depose Queen Akorithi of Sentinel is almost accidentally disclosed by Miriel - unfortunately, the wicked Lord manages to escape her avenging hand... for now, at least.
