FiiO X5II comprehensive review

This is a followup to the unboxing, where I compare it to the original X5's design. Overall it's an improvement in all ways compared to the original, though still a scroll-and-click DAP and it's selling points are primarily the dual-microSD card slots and low price. Now that it drives headphones and IEMs quite a bit better the sound quality is at a good level for a DAP in my opinion.

I forgot to go into detail about using the X5II as a DAC. It did scale up a bit using iZotope up-sampling in Audirvana Plus, similar to other components I've reviewed, such as the Calyx M and Aurender Flow.

I also didn't go into much detail about playlist support because it was a pain to re-format the files to work on the X5II.
