Wondering whether the Trine 5 menu holds secrets? To be fair, I was already thinking about it since I started playing the game. Somehow I managed to not start exploring the main menu until it was finished (though it was difficult not to)! The trine 4 menu held numerous secrets and easter eggs referring to Trine 5. So naturally, the first thing you do is look for... Trine 6? Or a DLC maybe? The main menu is all about the famous 'Red Rose Inn' and a dark potato cellar (where Mr. Gloom practices his dark arts).

The most concrete clue pointing towards (hopefully) upcoming DLC or even a full game is the conversation in the Red Rose Inn between Owl and the Astral Academy Cleaner, talking about that all classes have been cancelled. Furthermore, Owl talks about building a giant sandcastle out of the Astral Academy remains (while the cleaner hopes for rain). The other 'obvious' clue resides in the attic, where (depending on the character you choose to walk into the room) there is a storybook about geese, goats and trolls (Zoya), or princessess, princes and magical animals (Amadeus), or just a storybook (Pontius). The room is filled with props from the current and previous game. Hidden just below the roof in the main room of the Red Rose Inn, there are two teddybears. Lastly in the potato cellar is a sack of potatoes (at leats, that's what it looks like), that deflates when you shoot it with an arrow or hit it with a sword. Lastly, there are two plants that grow when you provide them with enough water from the pipe running in the middle of the level.

I'm curious what you think these clues mean (if they are indeed clues)! Will there be DLC (maybe with the students and Selius?) or even a full future game (Trine 6) (although we have to probably wait for it for a while)?
