This is one of my favorite desserts. I enjoy eating them with black Persian tea. This recipe should give you 35-40 pieces. If you have nut allergies, you can make it without the walnuts or the spices.

~ Ingredients ~

Dough
------------
400 g all purpose flour
220 g softened unsalted butter
1 cup whole milk yogurt
a pinch of salt
1 packet of active dry yeast

Filling
------------
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cardamom
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 cup ground walnuts
1 tsp vanilla
120 g melted unsalted butter
