Here's a Shootout between two games I love. First up is combat from Star Citizen PTU 2.0. It's not gold yet, so things can and will dramatically change. My only real complaint in SC is their implementation of gimbals. It's really wonky with a joystick. So the best option is to set them to locked.

Second is Elite dangerous around the 4:45 mark.

My biggest issue with Elite is ship handling. Even the smaller ships are slow to turn and quite the pain. I'm in an Asp Explorer and this thing has always been a pig despite the best-in-class rating on handling.

Also in Elite, I'm up against the much easier ship levels. With the Dangerous and Master level ships, combat can go on for all eternity. This isn't bad persay, but it's a huge pain.

Final thoughts are both games are fantastic. Elite, even with Horizons is a bit empty for the time being. Star Citizen is a work in progress and could be totally different next year when it draws closer to release.
