Configuration Manager 2203 and console 5.2203.1063.1500 Update

Installation and configuration of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager like many of microsoft products are not that easy. Part of the problem is Microsoft itself. They have tons of documentations but none of them are straight forward that you can follow. You can read all these documentations but at the end of the day you have just wasted a lot of time. You can go to school and get certifications but think again if you’re new in the world of IT. Can you keep up going to school everytime a new product comes in?

If you’re like me you just have to go for it and fix the issues as you go. But before you install and configure any product on a windows network you must have a Domain Controller, DNS, DHCP and SQL servers in short you should know your Windows network really well.

When you use the current branch of Configuration Manager, you can install the in-console update for version 2203 to update your hierarchy from a previous version. Version 2203 will also be available as baseline media soon after global availability of the in-console update, so you can use the installation media to install the first site of a new hierarchy


1. From Administration, Updates and Servicing, Right Click Configuration Manager 2203 and Select Install Update Pack

Ignore the Sign In button if you don’t have an Azure Account
Click Here to get a new account.

I actually signed in and created an Azure Account but wasted my time installing this Update. I think it’s better to get this MECM up and stable before integrating Azure to your system.

Uncheck the box on “Enable Microsoft Endpoint Manager” and continue with the update
On the Status, It will show prerequisite check, Installing and Installed


2. Once updated, checks for issues and get to know your console.

3. Wait for a few and console 5.2203.1063.1500 Update will appear on the the screen then click on “install the new”
