Omsi 2 has had driveable trams, with designated tram lines for a while now. Therefore, many amazing tram maps have been created. But what are the best free tram maps for Omsi 2? In this video I showcase 5 of the best fully freeware tram addons available for Omsi 2. Thus all tram maps featured in this video do not have any payware addons as a dependency. There is a brief description of each tram map featured in the video, along with some of the bugs that exist with the tram lines in the map. Unfortunately, due to Omsi 2's nature trams are inevitably quite buggy. Thus the ranking of each tram map is based on detail and performance, since all tram addons featured in this video are of an exceptional standard detail wise, performance is the main metric that I used to rank each tram map. However, the best tram map i.e the tram map ranked as 1, runs without any bugs.

Since there are only two high quality free tram models available for Omsi 2, I have included what the two best trams for Omsi 2 are too; just before revealing #1 (05:48). Note: Due to Omsi 2 being Omsi 2, trams will often load on the wrong tracks, this unfortunately is difficult to fix, but launching the Strassenbahn version of Omsi 2, i.e an older version could potentially help from what I have heard. In general I recommend taking over the tram from an AI where possible, otherwise getting the tram to load on the right track, is a matter of repetition until it works; usually moving around the map helps.
