Audiotest Bose Soundlink Mini vs. Soundlink II
Описание
Quick audio comparison of Soundlink Mini and Soundlink II at medium volume levels.
Recorded with Panasonic Lumix GH1 and internal microphone.
The Mini sounds impressively similar to the larger Soundlink, especially regarding bass response. The bass is incredible for something that small. Upper treble is more recessed than from the original Soundlink, but nevertheless the Mini sounds clearer overall, due to more pronounced upper mids and lower treble.
Sound on the Mini is slightly less dynamic and sounds like a lower bitrate MP3-file when directly compared.
At very low levels (below 30%) the Mini has a clear edge and doesn't sound that muddy and veiled. The Soundlink II starts to sound better at higher levels.
The Mini can reach about 80% of the original Soundlink's volume, but sounds more stressed with considerably less bass, it is more suitable for personal listening and not meant for outdoor parties, altough it sounds really impressive outside too, but keep volume below 80% in order to get the best quality!

IMO the Soundlink Mini is by far the best ultraportable speaker and wipes the floor with similar alternatives (including JBL Charge, UE Boom, UE Mini Boombox, Beats Pill, Jawbone Jambox, Jabra Solemate, Philips Shoqbox,...)
