Living in Mussoorie has been a great experience for me till date. Till now I explored a few locations like Dalai Hill, Happy Valley, Landour, Char Dukan, Lala Tibba, Bhatta Falls and The Khanaulti Village. On talking to the locals about the best places here in Mussoorie, one name has come to me again and again. The name is George Everest Top. George Everest is popular for its beautiful locations and the scenic beauty. Also, it’s popular for the vintage George Everest Mansion, house of the former surveyor of India Sir George Everest, after whom the great Mount Everest is named. Why is Mount Everest named after sir George Everest, you’ll figure out after watching the video. Apart form the Mansion the place offers a small trek for the trek lovers, the George Everest top trek. George Everest top is said to be the most beautiful and breathtaking picnic spot here in Mussoorie. Sitting at the top you can enjoy the beautiful views of the Happy Valley on one side and Rishikesh, Dehradun Valley on the the other side. Apart from George Everest top the place has a few other tourist spots nearby which are the Clouds End and the Wishing Well. Cloud End offers the most beautiful sunset in the area while the Wishing well is popular for the well that grants everyone’s wishes. This video will give you a small glimpses of the ambience of the area.
