A.: Where lies the source of your inspiration? How it changed for you along life?

F.: It may sound rhetorical but life itself is the greatest source for any inspiration. Then of course, each and everyone has his own personal point of view. Mine is the vision of an heterosexual man born in the south of Italy with the greatest passion for women. Therefore, since I was a child, what pushes me harder is still the attraction toward the fairer sex. And of course there’s something quite symbolic in it: man plus woman makes life, through chasing women I’m chasing life itself.


A.: Have new designers a chance, while F.N. still alive?)

F.: I never felt any sense of competition with other designers, neither should they. It’s plenty of life out there for whoever wants to live!


A.: What is more important for the karma: to design a bike or ride a bike?

F.: I believe that for your karma you should concentrate on things you’re good at. Designing or riding is up to your ability.



A.: How changed your consumers over years?

F.: The world has changed, not just my consumers. But I want to keep a positive vision of the future. Any change is for the best, we evolve to higher level of conscience, that’s our destiny.


A.: You are take away job from interior decorators or subject designers?

F.: I can tell you, that I hate the word decorator. Design is a much more complicated subject.

F.: One movie over all: Federico Fellini’s 8 1/2. One book: Carlo Collodi’s Pinocchio.


A.: French or Italian wine?

F.: Italian of course!


A.: F.N. - already well-known brand, it is like a snowball in business now. Can you make a new no-name brand to take over the world?

F.: Life is not about brands, life is about love!


A.: Do you have a desire, dream to leave after your students, school or write a book "design for dummies”?

F.: I already wrote an ultimate book titled: “Design explained to my mother”. It just needs a russian translation...


A.: F.N. has plans or just catching up with life?

F.: I want to breathe till I choke, I want to love till I die.
