The Law of the West & the Way Out | Shahid Bolsen
Описание
In this talk, Shahid Bolsen explains why Western “values” often function like set decoration—convincing facades with nothing structural behind them. When life applies pressure, the illusion collapses, and what remains is raw predation: rights reduced to enforcement power, safety treated as a personal problem, and the vulnerable left exposed.
He connects this to the emotional whiplash people experience when they’re raised on comforting slogans, then meet the real operating reality of institutions—especially policing and state power—and are funneled into endless “healing” without ever being told the truth of what they’re living inside. He also addresses the strange modern obsession with “liberating” AI, arguing it often reflects a deeper, displaced desire to escape one’s own programming and captivity.
Finally, he presents Islam as actual moral architecture: a foundation that defines rights as obligations commanded by Allah, restrains power with accountability, and protects the vulnerable by design—providing a real way to rebuild life beyond cynicism, fear, and the worship of force.
