OpenWrt - How to setup a 4G/LTE (RNDIS) connection for WAN access

Instructions:
1.) Plug-in the 4G LTE USB dongle in the router's usb port. The dongle should be pre-configured to connect to the Internet automatically.
2.) Install the necessary packages (kmod-usb-net-rndis and usb-modeswitch). Dependencies are also installed.
3.) Reboot the device.
4.) Run the command "logread | grep cdc_ether" to find out what the interface name is (usually eth2).
5.) Create the new connection in /etc/config/network (via cli or gui) and add the new connection to wan's firewall zone (via cli or gui).
6.) Reboot and check connectivity.
