How to Open and Close Alienware R11 Aurora PC? Easy step by step video

I got my Alienware Aurora R11 Aurora Series PC 2020 Model. I upgraded its HDD by adding 12TB to it. I thought I will give you guys a quick tour on how to open and close the side panel of this PC. It gets a bit tricky to close the panel so I thought I will give you guys a quick tour.

- Its pretty simple First use a Phillip head screw driver to open the back screw.
-Then Pull the lever at the back to unlock the side panel. Next gently pull the side panel and it should come out easily . You can see the power supply, motherboard a couple of spare Hard drive bays and other peripherals.
-To open the power supply and protective peripheral panel unlock these two levers by pushing them upwards
-Then you can slide open the power supply side panel. Its a bit tight to open
You can see the CPU, Graphics Card and spare PCI, SATA and other slots in there if you are planning to do some expansion to your PC
After closing the power supply panel make sure you lock the levers by pressing them downwards.
-And finally Closing the R11 desktop is pretty easy just make sure you follow the instructions carefully. Since the side panel has a curved design and quite a few top and bottom alignment hooks that clip into each other.

-Don’t put your PC flat on ground while trying to put the side panel, it won’t work that way.
- Put your PC in its normal vertical position and slide in the bottom alignment hooks first as shown at the back of the case. Once they are aligned, then gently close the top end of the side panel.

-Once its closed properly you should see the panel aligned properly with the case seem lines.
-Once you’re finished put the screw back in and you are done!
