Unboxing & Power Consumption - DeLonghi Portable Air Conditioner

This is NOT a review but an Unboxing Video of the DeLonghi AC (PAC AN125HPEC). This is a 12,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner. We pulled the Power Consumption: Cooler = Avg 900 watts, Heater = Avg 1200 watts, Fan = Avg 40 watts.

To find out the electricity cost for this unit:
1) Find out the rate from your electricity provider. In my state AZ, on peak hour rate is $0.24477 kWh (Kilowatt Hour Cost).
2) Google "Electricity Usage Calculator" and click the first result.
3) input the Wattage, kWh and Hours of use per day.
4) There you have your info in the chart. In my case (AZ on-peak rate), I run my unit for 1 hrs at 900 watt, it cost about 22 cents. On the other hand my Central AC consume 3500 watt. running it for an hour will cost 86 cents. Almost 4 times the different.
