Mariacarla Boscono was born in Rome, Italy in 1980.

She spent most of her early years traveling because of her parents' job and she lived in Asia, Africa, and the US before coming back to her birthplace, Rome.

She fronted campaigns for Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Dior, Versace, Prada, Marc Jacobs, Roberto Cavalli, Fendi, Tom Ford, Yves Saint Laurent, Vera Wang, Proenza Schouler just to name a few, she appeared on the covers of Vogue for the Italian, French, Japanese, German editions several times and also i-D, Dazed, Love, W, Harper’s Bazaar and worked with Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Willy Vanderperre, Mert & Marcus, Juergen Teller, Inez & Vinoodh.
