To use #Snapshot:

Step 1: If you have not previously installed #VMware, refer to the videos below.

Windows ➦ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Uf9-6SPiMY
Linux ➦ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UqmlpBJnJlk

Step 2: After installing it, create a new virtual machine and install a Windows, Linux, or macOS operating system on the virtual machine that you created.

Step 3: You can use Snapshot to back up a virtual machine. The Snapshot feature in VMware saves you time. You can compare Snapshot to the "System Restore" feature used in Windows operating systems.

Step 4: Shut down the virtual machine before taking a Snapshot. (You can also get Snapshot when the virtual machine is running.)

Step 5: After you shut down the VM, click on the Take Snapshot button from the menu.

Step 6: In the Take Snapshot window, type a name and description to back up the snapshot status of the virtual machine. Type in detailed information about the description of Snapshot.

Step 7: Click on the Take Snapshot button to start the process.

Step 8: After clicking it, the window will close.

Step 9: Now click on Snapshot Manager to check the Snapshot you created.

Step 10: You can see a backup of the virtual machine on the Snapshot Manager.

Step 11: Changes to the virtual machine will not affect Snapshot!

Step 12: Install a program as an example to test it.

Step 13: Power off the VM and now open Snapshot Manager again.

Step 14: Select the backup you created to restore the VM and click Go To.

Step 15: Start the virtual machine.

Step 16: After running the VM, you will see that you have no programs installed!
