I didn't manage to build the transformer described by Nicola Tesla in the patent US 433701.
But I developed my own construction using his idea of magnetic screen interposed between primary and secondary windings of a transformer.
In fact, I designed a current transformer in itself.
It can be used in power frequency networks involving consumers of high power, for instance, arc steel-melting furnaces.

A transformer consists of primary single-turn winding that is a pipe of circular or rectangular cross-section.
There is secondary heavy winding located inside the pipe along its axis.
Magnetic core is allocated between primary and secondary windings.
Magnetic core surrounds secondary winding.
This is a shell-type magnetic core.
There is a section in magnetic core that is vertical to the axis of the magnetic core.
The space between magnetic core and transformer's windings is hold by electrical insulating material.
During the work of transformer magnetic field of the secondary winding makes in shell-type magnetic core and, therefore, has no influence on magnetic field of the primary winding.
Using current transformer with magnetic screen in agriculture will make it possible to save electricity.
