KML Flight Path (Google Earth Studio w/ Blender)

Tutorial for creating a flight path using Blender w/ Google Earth Studio. The Earth Studio Tools Add-on will import Google Earth Studio projects into Blender, import KML routes in 3D, and provide Masking tools to integrate Blender 3D objects with the rendered Google Earth Studio images.

- get flight data (kml)
- follow flight with camera
- create flight path in Blender
- change shape of path
- change twist of path
- size route to camera (manual method)
- attach "airplane" object to path
- use drivers to move airplane along path
- render in Blender and/or for After Effects
- composite in After Effects
- blend Google Earth Studio renders (high altitude haze correction)
