So, this is the C922 Pro HD stream webcam by Logitech. This is the successor to the much-loved C920 webcam. And I am going to use the camera and the audio throughout this video.
Physical Overview
To start, let’s look at the physical overview. It is quite small but heavy. I think mainly because of the base. The length of the actual camera is about 3.5 inches. The width is about 1 inch. If you include the base, it’s about 3 inches. The height is approximately a little over 1 inch and if you include the base, it’s a tad over 5 inches.
For a camera this small, it has some weight on it. I think that is good to know because it feels sturdy and secure.
The camera and the stand can move only in 2 directions up and down. You’ll find three hinges. First is on the camera. Then on the middle of the base. This is where you adjust if you want this mounted on to your monitor. And lastly at the bottom to adjust your angle to make sure that the camera sits well on your monitor.
Under the base you can also find a screw mount in case you want to use a tripod.
On the front and centre, you will see the glass lens. You’ll see the Logitech logo and the HD 1080p phrase. On the end of each side are the microphone. The microphones are set up in a way that your audio will be in stereo. Meaning if I @o the right, you should be able to hear me more on the right and if move to the left, you should be able to hear me more on the left side. This will be more prominent if you are using headphones. Let me know in the comment section below how you like the audio so far.
Features
The built-in camera provides an f/2.8 aperture and a 78-degree field of view. It also boasts a full HD 1080p at 30 frames per second. It can go to 60 frames per second but only at 720p. but honestly, 1080p at 30 fps looks a lot better than the 720p at 60.
The C922 also has an autofocus feature. It also has an auto light correction feature and according to the Logitech website “the HD autofocus and light correction work to fine-tune lighting conditions, producing razor-sharp, high-def video in any lighting, so you always look great in your stream.”

There is another feature that this camera is selling and that is the auto background remover. I haven’t done this yet, so this is my first impression of this feature as well.
To get the full feature of the Logitech C922 Pro HD streaming camera, you need to download and install the Logitech capture app for your computer.
I have that ready hear and let’s look at some of the features.
First is the difference between the 1080p 30fps versus the 720p 60 fps.
As mentioned earlier I like the 1080p at 30 fps rather than the 720p at 60. The 720p doesn’t really look sharp to me. But if you are a streamer and you wanted something smooth, this can be a good option for you.
All in all, this is a good camera. But there are two things that I wish this camera has. First, I wish it has a privacy cover. Especially since Logitech is calling this a streaming camera. Also, I wish that I can pivot the camera a bit to the left or to the right. I just think it is handy. Other than those two things, the Logitech C922 Pro HD streaming camera is a good camera for streaming, zoom meetings and even content creation.
