The authors of the concept car were the president of the European branch of the concern General Motors Bob Eaton (Eng.) And one of the directors of Lotus Mike Kimberly in the second half of the eighties. The general idea of the project was to create a car that combines the dynamics and controllability of a supercar with the comfort and convenience of a business-class sedan. It was originally intended to create a special version of the model lineup, the Opel Senator, equipping it with a super-power engine developed by Lotus, but later the idea was transformed into a separate model based on Opel Omega.
