I bought this a few months ago at an orchid show in Sheffield. There's an unwrapping video on here (https://youtu.be/e7R9jwtP7rw?si=MJMyQ3b4nNsTF_P9). It came in a peat-like medium that doesn't work well for me because it tends to absorb too much water, frequently leading to roots dying, but I was advised not to repot until the flowers had all dropped. I decided to be extra careful and never did more than trickle water onto the medium and stopping as soon as it began to drain from the bottom of the pot, hoping that would keep the water content down to levels the plant would be happy with.
Given there are two new growths on the plant, it seemed like an ideal time to take the plunge. As you'll see, it was.
