Roland SP-808 Groove Sampler - Live Performance

Adrian performing a live track with the SP-808. Can you believe it's been 20 Years since it got released? Ahead of it's time, even featuring an analog modeling monophonic synth (from the JP-8000). I had this for a few months back then, and was dreaming of MPC's! That was a mistake. In 2019, this thing still holds up. The sound is really good - maybe hard to hear on this recording - but what Adrian did sounded great. What do we have to show for 21 (!!) years later? NI Maschine? A brokem Akai Force? A cold Ableton Push2? The gimmicky SP-404? Could we have so much more - or are we just too spoiled. What are your thoughts?
