"Yablochko" is a Russian song popular among revolutionary soldiers, as well as a sailor dance performed to it´s melody. It is known for numerous versions of the song during the Russian Civil War period: they were sung by the Reds, the Whites, the Black Army and the Green Armies, as well as many others. Over time, "Yablochko" became a kind of a sailor's anthem, although over time it was reborn from a sailor's song into a sailor's dance.


(The Ukrainian Insurgent Army version is titled "Little Mosquito" and incorporates the tune of the songs "Bolshevik Leaves Home"
and "Yablochko", starting with the tune of the 1st and then ending with the tune of the 2nd.)
