As you know Apple Watch SE is a previous year model that is still available with the same price tag - 330 EUR in Europe. Apple Watch Series 7 is the latest model with newest features and bigger always on display. It cost 460 EUR. So its more expensive. Its more like Pro model.

Apple Watch SE is great. It offers all core features that Apple Watch does. Activity tracking and smartwatch features like apps and games.

Im a big fan of Apple Watch since day 1. And I think Series 7 offers you more features for just a little bit extra money. Its always on display is something incredible and bigger display is better in daily usage.

If you have some extra money you should buy apple watch Series 7. You will not get frustrated with it. On the other hand If your budget is limited - you should choose Apple Watch SE. It has all core features that Apple Watch offers.

Just to summarize:
Apple Watch SE is Apple Watch Series 4 without ECG feature. With faster processor.

Apple Watch Series 7 is Apple Watch Series 6 with bigger display. Btw Even on my Mac Apple Watch Series 7 shows as Series 6 WTF.
