This is a tutorial on the basics of Game Maker Language, or GML for short.

GML is the language of Game Maker. Just like C++, GML is a language, although its uses are limited to the Game Maker program itself. Nevertheless, it is far better than the typical Drag and Drop method. This is because it allows a lot more control over what you want your game to do. It is preferred by advanced users of Game maker and people new to the language, and most never really return to the DND method.
