Voltron Teaser Trailer [W/SFX] - Classic Voltron
Описание
This is a teaser trailer I made myself. This video took eleven months to complete. Job searching, full-time employment, and household chores kept me back, which is why I took so long to finish this video. I reused the same 3D models from the Lion Force video and applied texture for the helmets, costumes, and skin. Their faces and visors were redone. I added a camera in Maya and then animated to move left or right for each character. Instead of using the same background with different colors like the previous videos, I used five shots from "The Princess Joins Up" in Photoshop and remove the pilots atop the lions using the clone stamp tool, applied a cutout from the filter gallery, and then imported them as a background in Maya. The opening credits were typed in yellow in Photoshop with two 5px strokes applied, black and white. I erased the four words below the Voltron logo and applied a plastic wrap from the filter gallery. The plastic wrap was applied again for the question marks. The Lion Voltron figure in first opening text was done in Illustrator with live trace and then imported into Photoshop where I used the magic eraser tool to erase the white background. I also added a widescreen gradient where it is black on top and on the bottom and fades out to the middle. In After Effects, I applied a dark green and black sky using fractal noise, tritone, and levels for the opening and ending of the video. Gusts of wind were applied using fractal noise and bezier warp. When importing all the text from Photoshop, I increased the scale for each text so it zooms in before fading out and also applied a CC Radial Fast Blur between fade effects. In Audacity, I recorded my own sound effects for the gusts of wind using my studio mic I purchased recently. The last step was the music. So I played the Voltron theme in the key of A minor using my electronic keyboard and recording it all with the studio mic. The music cue consists of strings, which I used for the legato bass, chords, and melody. I also added a vibraphone for melody. Both the vibraphone and strings are voice channels on my keyboard. This is the first video to be 1080 pixels and it is a QuickTime video totaling 46 seconds for the duration. All rights belong to World Events Productions and Toei Animation. FAIR USE ONLY!
