Friends, As you are already aware that Many of the Super GMs plays chess game with one or more opponents simultaneously without looking at the board and they do it like it is a piece of cake. It does not mean that they are god gifted and bla bla but the actual reason is they have spent quite a lot of time practicing it and now they have become so much habitual in doing so.
So, friends, my question is whether practicing to play blindfolded helps in improving chess. So the answer is Yes. You have seen many of the grandmasters on the live board thinking keeping their eyes closed or seeing the upside of the tournament hall. They are not sleeping or doing timepass but actually, they are calculating some variation which they are going to play on the board.
So Friends let's start discussing the topic
1. How to improve blindfolded chess.
2. What are the steps which we can take to improve our blindfolded chess vision.
3. What are preliminary exercises which we should start solving to improve our blindfold chess vision.
So Friends our first step to improving blindfolded chess vision is to learn chess board coordinates well. We should recognize the chess coordinates from white’s and Black’s perspective both.
We can do these exercises on chess.com or Lichess.com very easily. I would like to request all of my youtube friends and chess lovers to do this exercise for the duration of at least 5 minutes twice a day and the result will be astonishing.
