Border Collie Dog Acrylic Painting Demonstration Time Lapse

In this week's demonstration, I created this Border Collie Dog in acrylics and I show you how I go about it at each stage. Please like and subscribe for weekly painting videos.

Materials used...
14" x 10" Acrylic Paper Pad
Charcoal or pencil and a pen to transfer the image.
Retarder.
For the acrylic background I used a synthetic flat brush, large and small round brushes - acrylic paints in colours Ultramarine Blue, Sap Green, Cadmium Yellow Pale Hue, Cadmium Yellow Deep Hue, Burnt Umber and Titanium White. (Or whatever you have that is similar).
For the rest of the portrait I used a variety of flat and filbert brushes in the colours Mars Black, Ultramarine Blue, Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, Permanent Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Yellow Deep and Pale Hue, yellow ochre, Windsor Violet and Zinc White. You don't need all of these colours to create a successful painting... use what you have.
