Remove Caps Lock Delay on M1 MacBook Pro

After purchasing my MacBook Pro M1 I noticed a delay when toggling CAPS LOCK on/off, which is a nightmare for programming SQL. I did find that this is expected behavior per Apple's website, but ironically there where no sources on how to disable it. All the reddit threads, YouTube videos, etc... didn't work, which led me to find a solution.
