[Outdated Build] Serious Sam Fusion: TTSG - 03 Broken Wings

Here's the final map released so far and it's my favorite. The first major change you'll notice is that Arachnoid Juveniles make a return but dual wield chainguns and that all Arachnoids now fire fast projectiles that deal a ton of damage. I'm okay with this change but I would have preferred for them to be hitscanners as you'd have to weave between cover and stun them when caught out in the open.

There's also a new enemy in the form of the Super Kamikaze which is a sickly green color and runs slower. It's almost a guaranteed death if they touch you and they take reduced damage from bullets, but are weak to explosives. I think they're interesting but they only appear in a few encounters, so I haven't formed an opinion on them yet.

Also if you find a secret you get to fight updated Scrapjacks. Much like the Super Kamikaze, they only appear in a specific fight so I don't have an opinion on their changes. They seem to be able to soak up more damage and shoot some kind of flame ball and they work really well as pressure units in the tight combat arena where you encounter them.

One thing I'll say is the fights overall are really good in this map and I'm really loving the new assault rifle. It might have a slower reload than the BFE version but it's 100% accurate even when not zoomed in and has a very satisfying mag release sound when you reload. The final fight before the boss is probably the most difficult but overall it's a solid experience from start to finish.

Again, I'm really excited to see where this mod goes in the future. So far I love all the levels that have been released and aside from a few odd stylistic choices, the gameplay is rock solid.
