Степь да степь кругом I would translate it as Steppe, Steppe, and yet more Steppe, though literally it's Steppe yes steppe all around. I played this Russian song with John Holden (Balalaika) and Jonathon Coudrille (guitar) during our residency in a Swiss Hotel many years ago, hence the last time through I just did an accompaniment to their virtuosity
