(P.S: You can host Gitea on any server you want. I recommend DigitalOcean because they offer Gitea as a 1 click installation making it very easy to get started. DigitalOcean also offers a $50 free trial so its a win win.)

NO NEED TO CHANGE ANY CONFIGURATION FILES LIKE I STATED IN THE VIDEO, just make sure to follow the steps below and it will work!

1. Sign up to DigitalOcean and use their 1 click installation for Gitea. Get a $50 free trial here: https://host.promo/hosts/promo/digitalocean

2. Click create a droplet once signed up, then click the marketplace tab, then select Gitea and spin up a $5 server (droplet).

3. Log into the server via SSH and find the password with this command: "cat /root/.digitalocean_password"

4. Login at the server's ip address with the username "gitea_admin" and password you found in /root/.digitalocean_password .
