Hey there guys! In this tutorial, I will be showing you how to fix the problem:
Failed to login: java.net.UnknownHostException: session.minecraft.net for Windows

Note for Mac: address of the folder is /private/etc/hosts
1) Go to MyComputer
2) Open drive C
3) Open System32
4) Open drivers
5) Open etc
6) Look for the "hosts" file and BACK IT UP (Really Important)
7) Edit the hosts file with Notepad ++ or Notepad (Notepad++ is recommended)
8) On the last line, type in (or paste): 184.73.223.40 session.minecraft.net
9) Save the file
10) Open Minecraft and enjoy!
