Canva Quick Tips - 3 Fun Photo Editing Apps to Try: ColorMix, Trippy and Screen

This week's Canva Quick Tip is looking at three of the apps that you can use to create different photo effects.

You can find the apps in two different places either go to Discover Apps on your Home page, and they're under Photo Editing or use Edit Image if you're already on your design screen. And the three that we're going to look at are ColorMix, Trippy, and Screen, and they're all by the same company called PhotoMosh.

Let's just click on ColorMix brightens your day with unexpected colour combinations.
These include Rainbow, Arctic, Amethyst, Marmalade, Marine, Glow, Parakeet, and Sangria.
You'll see lines and circles on each option and when you click on those, they allow you to alter both the intensity or the amount of colour that you have.

Trippy is a really fun effect as well and gives your designs an edgy digital feel. This has the following options Split, Radiate, Trace, Stencil, Opal, Fluorite, Mood Stone, and Mirror, which creates a very odd image.

Again, the lines and circles allow you to shift the amount of colour and also to move the angle. You can see it's very clever. It does create a completely different image from the one that I first started with.

The third photo editing app is Screen. You can see all the great Screen effects you can have by clicking See All. You have Halftone, Calico, Semitone, Lino, Drill, Corduroy, Crosshatch, and Canvas.
