Staghorn Fern Driftwood Remount Platycerium superbum

This Australian native epiphytic fern grows naturally on the trunks of trees, tree ferns and boulders with it's broad 'nest leaves' catching leaf litter which feeds the plant. I add a bit of spaghnum moss and coir peat to the top behind the sheild/mantle to help retain moisture and feed it occasionally with weak liquid organic fertilizer, tea leaves, chopped up banana skins, worm tea or poultry manure 'tea'.
