Leucanthemum x superbum "Cloud Cumulus", a beautiful double-flowered Shasta Daisy for gardens in UK

Leucanthemum x superbum "Cloud Cumulus" is very unusual variety of Shasta Daisy characterized by double flowers with a ruffled appearance. Shasta daisies are herbaceous perennial plants that are complex hybrids originating from the cross of several species of Daisies. There are many cultivars available and definitely Cloud Cumulus is one that caught my eye immediately with its striking unusual flowers, quite different from the most common varieties of Shasta Daises, so when I saw it for sale on clearance two days ago, I didn't think twice and immediately bought it. This variety grows about 40 cm tall and 40 cm wide, however I also found some sources reporting that can grow up to 50 cm tall. Its petals are white with a yellow disc, and like all daisies, the flowers are loved by pollinators, especially bees and bumblebees. It is hardy in USDA zones 7-9, therefore in most of the UK as well as in several temperate climate countries (however some other cultivars of Shasta Daisies are hardy down to USDA 4 so definitely if you love Shasta Daisies, I am pretty sure you can find some great for being cultivated where you live). Very easy to cultivate, it loves full sun and well drained soil, and is also quite resistance to drought once established, needing watering only in case the rain is absent for long periods.
