Ultimate Fishing Simulator 2 - Slovakia Map: Float Fishing for Grayling, Brook Trout, Ide, Chub & Roach!

In this episode, I showing you some of the techniques and tips I have learned for float fishing on the Slovakia Map, both through experience and by advice from my buddy, Dulakaba! This waterway is tricky for float fishing due to the high current and shallow waters, so there is a much higher learning curve than on the previous waterways. I was having some sound issues with this recording due to the amount of ambient sound in the game, so in case you were unable to hear me clearly, here are some of the main tips for float fishing here:

- The river's current runs east to west, so you need to cast downstream (toward the rope bridge). Make certain that you close the bail on the reel, otherwise the line will keep moving downstream.
- You need to use smaller hooks. In this video I am only using a #16, but you can try #10 and #8.
- You will need a river sport float or river waggler float. These do not move as fast in the current.
- The species here, especially the trout, have great eyesight and are easily frightened. Try to use lighter, clear mono line as other lines seem to scare the fish. I am using 7.0+ lb. in this video.
- I have found that it is easier to catch the grayling at night with dragonflies! You can go to the map and change the time to night (not evening). Press the "F" key for your light.
I have managed to catch of the following species with the following baits (both offscreen and on):
- Grayling - Dragonflies
- Brook Trout - Dragonflies
- Chub - Grubs and Doughballs
- Ide - Grubs, Dragonflies, and Grasshoppers
- Common Roach - Grubs, Dragonflies, and Doughballs
- Rainbow Trout - Dragonflies and Grasshoppers
- Brown Trout - Dragonflies

So far, the Common Bleak have proved elusive to me. Supposedly they can be caught at night with doughballs, but I have not had any luck so far.
