How to Install Chirp for Ham Radio on Linux Mint Cinnamon version 19.2 OS

This install is ONLY for Linux Mint Cinnamon version 19.2 - 19.3 Tina using the Software Manager Chirp application provided. It always works with 19.2 but 19.3 and higher has issues.
Other distro's will want the flatpak executable, which has the entire runtime integrated and should "just work." If you are running an old or weird distro and want the source distribution, grab the tarball from this link:
